Sea Level Rise Presentation at the Marin Coalition on 1/9/2019



Leslie Lacko – Sea Level Rise Planner, Marin County Community Development Agency · James Raives – Senior Open Space Planner, Marin County Parks and Open Space Marin County already floods during heavy rains and King Tides. How will rising sea level further impact our shoreline? How can we adapt and what is the County doing to prepare? Local governments must chart new ground in planning for climate change and Marin County is leading the way. Kate Sears $150,000 Future Goggles. Will Sea Level Rise Fears get her Re-Elected?



Supervisor Kate Sears announces an education program OWL to "see the future" with sea level rise in Mill Valley.  This temporary installation will be installed along the bike path in Mill Valley and costs an estimated $150,000 for twelve weeks.  This is an eye popping $12,500 per week.  This is some expensive "education".

Kate "No Ears" Sears refused to hear concerns of Strawberry Residents about the PDA for sixteen board meetings in a row. She refused to allow it to be placed on the agenda for discussion.
Now she wants to be re-elected...
