Marin City is just one of two Priority Development Areas in Marin. Soon bulldozers and cranes will be coming for massive redevelopment and the construction of market rate housing. The current residents of Golden Gate Village fear they will be displaced first from their community during construction and secondly from rent increases once the area becomes gentrified with market rate housing.
