The NSA is coming to Town!
Surveillance Camera at Las Gallinas and Lucas Valley Road
Why do we have cameras everywhere now? Do they put them up when we are sleeping at night? I don't remember voting YES on any of this. Who is behind it?
There are video cameras located all over Marin. Law enforcement denies that they are for traffic enforcement but are for "traffic monitoring". Given the revelations that the NSA and many police departments are monitoring our cell phone conversations, web use and email, it is reasonable to expect the cameras are used for investigative work. You can find these on Las Gallinas, Sir Francis Drake, etc. Just look up at major intersections and you will spot them.
