Walkthrough Animation of 2008 Marinwood Village Project

Bridge Housing has not finalized Marinwood Village Building design or heights.

Here is a walk through animation for the 2008 Trammel Crow project.  Note the height and density of of the apartments.  The parking lots are virtually vacant in the animation.  A successful market and 83 apartment units will require hundreds of parking spaces. I only counted 23 cars on the Marinwood Ave and parking areas.  Visit the high density neighborhoods of the San Rafael Canal district and try to find parking.  It is easy to imagine that Marinwood Ave, Miller Creek Rd, Casa Marinwood and parts Blackstone will be jammed with cars.  Shoppers would have difficulty parking close to the markets on the weekends, killing the market. 

Developers are cynically using our desire for a market to allow their housing schemes.  Just say No! Marinwood Plaza can be financially successful just like other freeway close market areas along the 101 Corridor.  We can have a better future for ALL of us.
