Schools are now Tracking Kids Online- NSA for School Adminstrators

Companies are now datamining your childrens online activity for their "safety". Using the reason to "protect the children" from bullying and preventing suicide.  Vast student populations are being tracked.  It is yet another intrusion into our private lives by government under the guise of safety.  Where will this stop?

Governor Brown just signed a new surveillance law Assembly Bill 256 that allow schools to scour social media, text and emails to "protect the children".  It is yet another breech in our privacy rights. Before we give ALL privacy away, perhaps we need to pause and ask if such a security net is really necessary.  See Patch article HERE.
