Join the Las Gallinas Lions for their Virtual Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 11 at 10:00am!
The 2020 Las Gallinas Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt would have been the 41st annual egg hunt hosted by the club. Although we had to cancel this year’s event due to COVID-19, the Lions would still love to celebrate this annual tradition with the community—a tradition that has brought smiles (and chocolate!) to generations of Marinwood youth. But this year we hope you will join us online!
You and your family, friends, and neighbors are invited to join in a Virtual Easter Egg Hunt in the form of posting photos/videos from previous egg hunts (there are 4 decades of archives to draw from here!), or even consider conducting a mini-hunt in your own backyard during our online event time and post a picture or video of that.
The main goal is to foster a sense of community spirit and fun at Easter time and to provide an opportunity to connect with neighbors in the socially distant reality in which we find ourselves.
The Annual Easter Egg Hunt is a highlight in the Las Gallinas Lions Club calendar each year, and members look forward to serving the community in this new and festive way, while we plan for future events where we can all gather again. So, let’s meet up online and carry on the spirit of fun!
